In the last few years, we have considerably evolved in the development and production of hotel access control system chips. We received the first order for this kind of chip in 2014 from a local hotel company. The problem was that, many years ago, smart locks were installed in hotel rooms and they had plastic cards with RFID tags as keys. These tags were well protected by the manufacturer and could only be purchased from the lock manufacturer. Over time, however, the hotel's contacts with the supplier were lost and the company that installed the locks could not be found. Thus, having 240 available rooms , the hotel only had around 160 key cards. In the peak of the tourist season, the client could not rent more than 160 rooms, having a resource of 240 rooms.

The hotel was in a critical situation. The only existing solution being a complete replacement of all locks - difficult, time-consuming and expensive. We managed to solve this problem. We made chip cards that incorporated the physical properties and mathematical logic of the cards originally designed by the lock manufacturer.

Consequently, that's how a new path began. We have faced similar challenges more and more often and found effective solutions. Today we have accumulated experience that we are ready to use.

The product

We make plastic key cards for most hotel locks: Adel, Salto, Ving Card, Hune Lock, Orbita, Smart lock, Wolfer, Tengo, Be-Tech, Omnitec and many others.

You can order blank white cards or custom ones with color printing.

Frequency range - 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz., based on chips by NXP, Fudan, Temic.

How do key cards work?

Hotel businesses are aware of the issue of ordering access cards for hotel locks. They have a high cost, long production lead time and are not always available in stock.

At the same time, there are many card offers on the market that are much cheaper, meet the features and requirements of smart locks, but do not work. These problems are caused by the fact that lock manufacturers encrypt such cards, prescribing additional mathematical algorithms, to maintain monopoly sales and become the single option for the customer.

Dealers, the companies that install such lock systems, do not have their own production of smart cards. They have to always have a warehouse of finished products available. However, the production technology of custom printed key cards involves printing during the manufacturing process.
