Proximity cards operate by wirelessly transmitting data to RFID technology devices. Widely used for access control, cashless payment systems, and more, these RFID cards allow users to easily access secure areas or make quick payments. Contact us to choose the right chip for your specific system and benefit from the advantages of RFID technology.
Blank RFID cards represent a cost-effective option for access control. They are ready for use, but can be personalized with visual elements, variable data, or your brand logo. The printing quality significantly depends on the card surface.
The production of these cards involves high temperatures (approximately 140 °C) and high pressure. The RFID module contains a chip and an antenna circuit, encapsulated in layers of plastic. They are then subjected to heating and pressure, resulting in a uniform plate from which the cards are subsequently cut into their final shape. During this process, the circuit and chip expand, and upon cooling, they contract, creating indentations on the card's surface around the chip and sometimes around the antenna. Thus, the card's surface will not be perfectly smooth.
Some PVC card printer manufacturers take these peculiarities into account and offer ribbons with a coating layer. First, a leveling and protective layer is applied, followed by ink. However, not all printers have this option. For a perfect print covering the entire surface, we recommend PVC cards with enhanced features.
Premium cards stand out for their smooth surface and greater thickness. These features provide increased resistance and longer lifespan. Choosing Premium cards ensures not only security but also long-term durability in use.
ISO7816 standard RFID plastic cards, measuring 86mm x 54mm and 0.9mm thick.
It's important to note that all printing methods have a notable disadvantage - the possibility of the image fading or wearing off over time. Some card printers can apply a protective film after the printing process, but even this can wear off.
We have the technology to produce PVC cards from scratch. The printing is well protected by a lamination foil. With us, you have the option to order cards already printed with the graphic design of your choice to ensure that the information is well protected and will not fade over time, and the card will maintain its attractive appearance. Our offer includes specially designed cards for direct printing, equipped with integrated RFID chips and combinations tailored to your needs.
You can choose from cards with a single chip or combi cards that can operate at different frequency intervals, such as EM-MARINE + Mifare S50. Additionally, we offer options with both contact and contactless chips, such as Mifare 1K (S50) + SLE 5542. Depending on your system specifications, the cards can also include chips and a magnetic stripe.
